Jan Garbarek and The Hilliard Ensemble - SOLD OUT
16 Nov 2014
*PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE VENUE FOR TICKETS — THIS SHOW IS COMPLETELY SOLD OUT*
2014 marks the final performances of an extraordinary musical journey that began in 1994 with the ECM release of Officium – the sheer beauty of The Hilliard Ensemble’s unaccompanied voices blending with Garbarek’s soaring saxophone.
The serene atmosphere and resonant acoustic of Temple Church will create a very special, intimate atmosphere for their final London concerts together on Friday 14 and Sunday 16 November. However, as might be expected in a venue of this age and architecture, sightlines are limited, and are reflected in the ticketing arrangements for these concerts. Each ticket price band is colour coded, with seating unallocated within each band – so we recommend arriving early for what we are sure will be two very memorable evenings.
We should also add that there are no refreshments available in the church, and that toilet facilities will be limited – but there are a range of cafes and bars nearby. The performances will last for c. 75 minutes without interval.
Part of the EFG Excellence Series.
