Chris Sharkey’s Make it/Break it - performance
19 Nov 2016
LONDON Southbank Centre / The Clore Ballroom
We are looking for over 100 amateur musicians of all abilities to take part in this all-day workshop with guitarist Chris Sharkey (trioVD, Acoustic Ladyland, Shiver), creating a new piece which will be premiered at Southbank Centre's Clore Ballroom at 6.30pm.
This piece will play around with improvisation and will be an opportunity to experiment with a variety of methods of music-making and play with a large ensemble of diverse musicians and instruments.
We have had a very positive response to our call-out for musicians. Places are now limited and we are particularly looking for instrumentalists who play strings, wind, brass and percussive instruments. (aged 15+)
Pre-booking is essential. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to book and for more information.
This workshop was previously advertised as taking place in the Level 5 function room, but will now take place in the Clore Ballroom ahead of the performance.
We’re delighted to bring you fantastic free performances and workshops right across the capital all Festival long.
