Bureau of Atomic Tourism (or The BOAT) is an avant-garde free jazz outfit led by drummer Teun Verbruggen. At the request of Follow the Sound Festival in 2011 in Antwerp, he gathered some exceptional musicians to explore the space between jazz, rock, noise and electronics. The result exceeded all expectations and The BOAT is a fully formed band, enjoying the power of improvisation along with great compositions.
