Part of a study day packed with enlightening talks and discussions on the historic impact of Jazz.

Join Dr Katherine Williams (University of Plymouth) and Dr Andy Fry (Kings College, London) as they discuss the reciprocal journeys of jazz across the Atlantic and also to France. This session explores the influence of jazz on British musical culture, and the impact of dance bands, a British response to jazz, on the adoption of the music elsewhere.
