Steve Taylor Big Band 'NU' Collection premieres drummer/composer/arranger Steve's brand new arrangements paying homage to NU jazz artists Koop, Beady Belle, Omar, Zero 7, Gil Scott Heron & beyond + brand new original arrangements from award winning Drum Maestro Taylor.

With the hottest 16-piece band on the London Scene, featuring the likes of Parliamentary/London Music Award-winning Phil Meadows, Vasilis Xenopoulos luscious sounds (BBC London) of vocalist and long-time collaborator Josie Frater + surprise guests, this promises to be a Ziggy's/LJF highlight recorded & filmed for release.

Steve Taylor's credits are far and wide and have included musical Director for OMAR, Ian Shaw, Julie Dexter, having shared the stage with the likes of Kevin Spacey and a regular feature on BBC Radio 2 Claire Teal show. 

Drummer, composer, arranger and producer the 'musical force' that is Steve Taylor has currently released 3 albums with his Big Band: Good Things Happen; Live In London and Live at Ziggy's on the i2i Music Label.  Look out for later this year when Steve's 'nu' jazz leanings get a further airing when he produces and releases a brand new WORLD RUNNERS fusion album with Josie Frater.
