Kurt Elling in conversation with Guy Barker

Ahead of this year’s EFG London Jazz Festival, we have a limited number of tickets for a very special lunchtime event, featuring the charismatic vocalist Kurt Elling, discussing his distinguished career, inspiration and the art of jazz singing with friend and musical collaborator composer/arranger/trumpeter Guy Barker – a rare opportunity to discover the inspiration and creative muse that lies behind one of the world’s most renowned jazz singers.

The glamorous, art deco cabaret club, Crazy Coqs, near Piccadilly Circus, provides an atmospheric setting for this very special event. Kurt’s singing voice will also feature, of course – his expressive way with a lyric, and innate musicianship, highlighted by the intimate surroundings.

Guy Barker’s reputation as a musician, composer and conductor is admired throughout the world.  He first met Kurt in his role as Musical Director for the EFG London Jazz Festival’s opening night gala, Jazz Voice, and their musical association has continued since then.

The chemistry between them is sure to create an unforgettable occasion.
